From bit to qubit: the journey from classical computers to the quantum future

by Nguyễn Hoàng Long, Đỗ Ngọc Ngoạn

Why does the computer in your pocket work, and why do scientists believe quantum computers will change the future? "The Apple, the Cat and the Computer" takes you through two worlds: the world of the apple, the familiar classical physics where everything can be predicted, and the world of the cat, quantum mechanics, where everyday rules no longer hold.

Starting from "Hello, World!", bits and how a computer is built, through software, algorithms and machine learning, the book moves into quantum mechanics, qubits and the strange powers of Schrödinger's cat, and ends with qubit platforms, quantum computers, quantum machine learning and the future of a hybrid quantum world.

Written in an approachable voice with everyday examples, for students and general readers who want to understand quantum computing. (Vietnamese edition.)
